New iTunes won't recognize iPhone, iPad, or iPod

I downloaded the latest version of iTunes (Version 12.5.1.21) and now for some reason, it won't recognize any of my Apple products (iPad, iPhone, etc.). I ran a diagnostic and it states I'm not the administrator yet in Windows it states I am. Need some help to fix this problem.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems that iTunes is not recognizing the iPhone when you connect it to your Windows computer.
There are a couple things we can try to resolve this for you. I would recommend you read these articles, they may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

One thing you can try if you are still not able to get the device recognized or you still receive this administrator error is to uninstall iTunes and all of its components and reinstall it.

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support
